Did you look closely at the dates on that chart?

The most recent that it covers is 8 years ago.

Try this chart ... if you switch to 10yrs it shows the period after the chart you linked to ended...

You can add "United Kingdom GDP Growth" as a comparison.

Over 10 years you can see that the GDP growth rate trend is for Greece is gradually increasing.

For the UK, we've started (since 2016 couldn't think why) to drift down.

The current GDP growth rates for both Greece and the UK are almost neck and neck now.

Albeit with the UK on a downward trend since 2016, and Greece on a nearly 7 year upward trend now, so the trends for future growth rates now favour Greece over the UK.
