  1. There are 320,000 homeless people in the UK
  2. Of which 200,000 are children
  3. There are 5,000 people "sleeping rough" which has tripled since 2010
  4. More than one million households are on local authority housing waiting lists, albeit the figures aren't entirely accurate
  5. More than four million people in the UK live in sub-standard or inappropriate accommodation
