Hi all
I have a Halifax S&S ISA which used to be their Funds ISA so I have a few funds in there from when it switched over to a S&S ISA. My dilemma is what should I do with them? They are the HSBC Global range of funds (American, Japan, FTSE etc) which have done pretty well over the time I have left them there (American one especially!).
They are cheap to run, yields are mostly low except for the FTSE one, and I only spent 200 each originally. Trouble is, Halifax's cheap share dealing days don't include funds, so it would cost me £12.50 to sell them. I prefer ITs and ETFs, and they make up the rest of my portfolio, as they would only be £3.95 to sell should I have to (at the moment of course). I have funds & ETFs in my VG ISA.
So my options are:
a) Leave them and collect the few quid in divs
b) Top them up (£2 regular)
c) Sell them and reinvest into ITs/ETFs
Any thoughts?

An account admin charge of 12.50 sounds reasonable to me. Sounds like they've grown a lot. Personally I'd leave where is.

Re: What to do with Funds
Leave them alone and invest in the things that you want. Presumably they are accumulation units, or the income is being reinvested. Give them a few years and it may be worth selling them. Otherwise they give you yardsticks to judge your other investments by.
