Price monitoring extensions

Apologies if this is the wrong board but I couldn't see any other that seemed more appropriate.

Regarding Price Monitoring Extensions, I understand that these happen when there is unusual activity taking place such as large price movements in the very short term or unusual traded amounts.

But my question is: Can one read anything into it? Are they invariably positve or negative?

In other words is there somewhere where one can read the reason for the control and thus make a value judgement? The RNS do not seem to include a reason.

That are always associated with unusual levels of activity, and the share price may be rising or falling. You need to look at the pattern of trade at the relevant time and the way in which the price was moving, which you can find out from various websites.

Thanks.

Shall do that next time I come across one. See if I can interpret why it is happening.
