In light of the upcoming Trump statement on next Friday about raising Import tax from 10% to 25%, what is the best course of action for a portfolio largely made of US-based stocks? Is there any chance the nations will a way to overcome this crisis? should we all pull out our US related investments?

Perhaps the Donald is simply "posturing" in advance of the meeting with China? (i.e. if you don't do as I want then ....).
