Surely downward pressure on bond yields is a positive for bond prices and a reason to continue to hold fixed interest.

I've just been re-visiting this thread. I made the following changes over recent months:

Sold CTY, top-sliced FGT, reduced RGL.
Added gold miner POLYmetal Int'l, and topped up MATE, MUT, PNL, TRIG and MRC.

The logic behind selling CTY was due to its lack of capital performance over recent years and to reduce number of UK IT's I hold. So I offset that to some extent by adding more to MUT and MRC. MATE, PNL and TRIG were added to, to increase defensiveness and diversification.

I add to Mercantile (MRC) mostly in the hope that I might capitalise on a Brexit bounce whenever that should happen.

MATE - (JP Morgan Multi-Asset trust).
TRIG - (The Renewables Infrastructure Group).
POLY - Polymetal International.
