I haven't had as low as 1.1% for an instant access savings account in yonks ... in fact I don't think I've ever had that little. You've been able to get 1.4%-1.5% for quite a while. https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savin ... easyaccess

Of course, that's potentially taxable, depending on your situation, but for a basic rate taxpayer beyond the personal savings allowance and starting rate for savings that'd be 1.12-1.2% after tax.
