This is a difficult question to frame as I appreciate that advising whether an investment is to be recommended or not has to come with plenty of caveats. I've looked at the AIC website for the ITs in the sector.
Assumptions:
a) Investment is to be made in an IT in the Renewable Energy Infrastructure sector
b) Will be about 6% of my portfolio
c) Will be inside an ISA
d) Happy to have a good yield but total return is more important
e) Not looking to achieve the top return, but trying to avoid a bad outcome
With the above in mind, is Octopus Renewables Infrastructure suitable?
Thanks.

Re: Renewable Energy Infrastructure ITs
It should cover most of the points you question but there are other investments.
You seem to have picked out "Renewables" I assume you have other areas covered and looking to diversify a bit.
They tend to be more bond like so might fall a tad if rate continue to rise like they are expected too.
You might want to do some long term comparisons with others. This is on a discount which is good.
I have Trig from that list and added more recently on the dip and UKW. I would expect most to be fairly steady and offer a yield which should grow over time. The initial Trig shares dividend is up over 12%.
How good ORIT is? Is a dyor question.
