Impact of AI investment management

The article opens a debate about the use of (generative) AI to assist/replace investment managers. The article is rather superficial. Algorithmic investment management is clearly already in use so this step could be something of nothing but the qualitative difference interests me.

ps I don’t use an investment manager as such but do invest in both passive ETFs and some large ITs in addition to my direct holdings. S
