Cycling on iPlayer

There is a great deal of cycling on the BBC iPlayer at the moment – over 20 hours I reckon.

All the races in last weekend’s world cyclo-cross are included. The course in Switzerland was tough and included several bridges and an extremely steep muddy bank. The elite women’s race was decided by a sprint, which doesn’t often happen in cyclo-cross. The men’s race was particularly hard because it rained throughout.

Also on the iPlayer is the six day track race in Berlin. This is quite an event, all razzmatazz. It is a long time since I have seen motor paced endurance racing (not keirin). And a race which combined madison and elimination was new to me.
