Book Club - voting for August/September reads

#72632

Postby MistyMeena » August 7th, 2017, 11:48 am

It's taken me a little while to get to grips with this poll option. Hoping I've got it right.

We are looking for two books from those nominated as our next book club reads. A bit more information on each of the books can be found here: viewtopic.php?f=81&t=6555

Anyone can vote and join in with the reading discussion. The poll closes in seven days but dipping into the discussions can last as long as anyone is reading the books.

We have a clear winner in Jane Austen's Mansfield Park. And a two way tie for second place. After much deliberation this afternoon I am going to give my casting vote to J. M. Coetzee's The Childhood of Jesus.

Thank you for the nominations and votes. Happy reading.
