Interesting topic. Unfortunately I was waiting for some demonstrations, but there were none.
The very big truncheon/club - I don't know but I wondered if it was designed to quell prison disturbances. I doubt something that destructive would be acceptable for use on ordinary citizens, but prisoners were regarded as not having the same civil rights.
