Interesting video, perhaps of interest to Ian Pickering. If you see this Ian, perhaps you could embellish the practicalities of administering swift justice on the spot (the weapon, not the times...)?

Interesting topic. Unfortunately I was waiting for some demonstrations, but there were none.

The very big truncheon/club - I don't know but I wondered if it was designed to quell prison disturbances. I doubt something that destructive would be acceptable for use on ordinary citizens, but prisoners were regarded as not having the same civil rights.
