I've just spotted that ancestry.co.uk have one of their free weekends again.
I've missed most of it but the free access continues until the end of today, Monday 28th August.
It's just a shame the weather is looking so good - typical Bank Holiday rain is really what is needed to really justify staying in glued to computer screen

... saw it, then the page auto reloaded and it's gone. Now even for a 'free' 14 day trial you have to enter bank card info.

Is this a joke? Come to rainy Scotland, you'll be fine on your PC here.

Still ok for me, and their t&cs say...
Access to the records in the featured collections will be free from 00:01 BST 25.08.17 to 23:59 BST 28.08.17
From what I recall, they always want a card for the free trials (hoping you'll forget to cancel) but I've never been asked for one for the free access.
