I wasn't sure where to post this. It's not really about health and wellbeing, more about one woman's personal experience of cancer, but although it's of general interest the Snug seemed the wrong place, which is why I've ended up here.
I'd never heard of her until I picked up the news story over the past couple of days, but she's had the cancer for nearly two years, and has written a blog about it, charting the ups and downs.
Very sadly, the downs have won, and she now only has a matter of days to live.
It's not easy reading - especially now we know the end of the story - but it's immensely moving, and is a powerful reminder of how we should appreciate what we have while we have it. As Rachel has discovered, it can disappear all too easily.
