It sounds like new age rubbish to me. I've never heard of cells emitting electromagnetic waves (well, apart from heat).

Of course it works. You adopt a non-existent medical title, learn how to wire up a client into the shock box, practice the art of sounding as though you (more or less) know what you're doing - and the money just rolls in. It's fantastic! :D

Safe and suitable for everyone, apparently. Except for children, women of child-bearing age, old people, and anyone who's ever had a heart condition, or who might develop one when they find out what the treatment's costing them. Quack quack.

Quack quack indeed.
And even with its weasel wording, the advert is treading close to the restrictions of the UK's Cancer Act (1939) except that they are a US company where these things re allowed.
