I note the SP has dropped to 68p so could make 4p profit in 3 months.

It's a bit confusing if the dividends could out of the 72p. I'd expect it's a month in arears so one is likely earned but then they would be propertyless

Plenty of debate over on the ADVFN boards. A general acceptance that the EPIC "deal" is a sell-out, but a done deal. So where to put the cash in the same sector.

I recommend a basket of 3 - API, EBOX & SREI. They provide an average yield of 8.0% at a 38% average NAV discount.

The sps are stirring off the bottom; and those above stats should ensure further progress.

EPIC deal voted through 93% in favour of selling the portfolio.
Not thrilled, but I'll walk away with a small profit.

Lots of small investors are not able to vote depending on how their broker is. I think iii will allow but Iweb don't.

Still, I don't think it would have made much difference even if they all voted no.

Seems to vary by broker. HL only quote EBOX but AJ Bell have BOXE & EBOX. Afraid I don't use Iweb, although perhaps I should looking at their platform charges!

Interactive Investor don't list EBOX, only BOXE. Which is no use to me.

Iweb "don't allow buying it as it doesn't fit their target market, which is retail"

I also looked at iii and they dont have it either so It looks like I'm out.

Pity!

You can buy BOXE at II last time I looked. And I think you will be able to buy EBOX by phone if you call them. But I'm not 100% sure.

I hold with AJBell and IDealing.com

They have posted interim accounts setting out what has been happening.
The bottom line is that they should payout 69p per share in mid January with the balance in 6 to 9 months time when the liquidation has finished.

Thanks for that. Helps to know the details.
A pity as it was generating a nice little stream despite my holding being pretty low and half of it having only been held for a year. Still I should come out with about 15% return.

Now if only Regional REIT's outcome ends up so positive!

cheers

I still haven't identified a replacement or replacements for my funds and as they are with Iweb couldn't get the ones mentioned upthread.

I was using that broker to provide some automatic income.

I might look at some ITs and add so some other REITs.

Either that or start a reshuffle and put something else in with that broker. I might look for a bond fund or something until I can find what I want. I suppose I don't need the monthly income but liked having it but could used a range of investments that payout over different dates.
