Warehouse REIT

Here's another possible for Fred.

I just spotted in the Investor's Chronicle:- Warehouse REIT (WHR) - a buy recommendation - for growth & income.
While Warehouse REIT (WHR) only floated on the Alternative Investment Market (Aim) in September, it spent four years prior to that building up a £109m portfolio in one of the most exciting parts of the UK property market. The portfolio consists of small distribution warehouses in urban areas for last-mile deliveries, which are in increasing demand as e-commerce delivery times shorten. For investors familiar with the popular big-box property theme, think small box instead. Indeed, all but four of Warehouse REIT's properties measure less than 100,000 sq ft. Once fully invested it is targeting a 5.5 per cent fully covered dividend yield, rising to 6 per cent, paid quarterly. The goal is for total annual investment returns of 10 per cent.

Hmmmm..... The man who invests in a cold fusion experiment?

Thanks.

Bloggs.

Well I took the bull by the horns and bought into WHR yesterday (at 99.9p), in addition to RGL last week. That brings my Property exposure very much up to weight! (I already hold SLI and PHP).

Warehouse REIT (WHR) shares were suspended on 26th July. They are in discussions with a third party re Hansteen properties. As this may be a reverse takeover situation the shares are suspended under rule 14 of AIM.

RNS 9106V refers.

I have no particular interest in WHR, but I do hold Hansteen.

The potential deal is huge. Said to be about £460m - some 70% of Hansteen's assets:

I just wonder what Hansteen might do with the proceeds. The company seems to be energetically liquidating itself!

I have some of each.
I also had some each of PHNX and SLA.
I'm completely out of my depth.
I suppose WHR will call for further subs from shareholders
Maybe HSTN will give me some more back - and all the while Brexit remains to be settled.
The good times are coming, let's hope we live long enough to se 'em

Talks between Warehouse REIT (WHR) and Hansteen (HSTN) have ceased with no agreement being reached between the parties.

RNS 9123Z refers.

Shares in WHR resumed trading on AIM on 6th September.
