I think you're right that the Hargreaves Lansdown page for FCIT shows a 1-year 'performance' of 5.31% which is purely on a 'share-price' basis -

Even better than that though, the Trustnet page for FCIT gives a specific 1-Year '
Cumulative Performance' return of 7.1%, which is shown to be a total-return figure 'with net income reinvested' -
