I was told today by a BoS telephone consultant that they no longer offer Sharebuilder to new applicants....

Perhaps the branding has changed, wasn't shrebuilder usp offering cheap pooled dealing?
They offer ISA, SIPP and Share Dealing accounts, both ISA and Share Dealing offer £2 for regular investments.
