Calor Gas Bottle Deposit

Eleven years ago I purchased a 7Kg calor gas bottle from a local supplier. It cost £44.98 including £29.99 bottle deposit.

The bottle has been changed numerous times but I now have an empty 7Kg calor gas bottle which I would like to get my deposit returned on.

Do I just take it back to the same supplier with the original receipt ?

Calor gas depots will give you £7.50 for the old bottle or you can get cash back on a sliding scale as per the link below. Alternatively advertise the bottle on Gumtree. I have sold 2 for £20 each in this way. Both sold within 24 hrs of advertising.

It used to be take it back to any Calor Gas agent (supplier) with the receipt for a full refund. I couldn't take mine back to the same supplier as they no longer exist, but any other should do as they are just agents for Calor.
