Read something which sparked an interest in plastics reforming.
Wanting try my hand at it, I have been reading a lot and watching some videos so I do have some idea where I want to go with this - probably the making of 'slugs' that can be turned on a lathe.
However I cannot seem to find an amateur community/forum that talks about plastics reforming at the amateur/hobby level. Whatever search terms I enter seem to link to 3d printers, injection moulders and the like or pretty serious professional papers.
DAK of a forum of the type I seek?
I wonder whether we should have an experimenter's board!

Maybe Building and DIY viewforum.php?f=40 would be okay or Science - Scientific discovery and discussion viewforum.php?f=83.
