Is there a board to discuss hi-fi separates? or os it the generalised TVs, computers etc board?

The "Music..." Board is probably the best fit. The computer etc board is more for help/ troubleshooting

I think the latter is also acceptable, as the Lemon-Aid sub-header for that board is Seek assistance with technology, if that is what you are seeking (Music etc being under "Interests" but I doubt anyone will mind).

Some of us who frequent the 'Computers, TVs & Phones' board have Hi-Fi separates too, you know (70s vintage in my case).
It's all 'Technology' after all...

As do the posters on the HYP Practical board. I'm sure they'd appreciate a HiFi post to break the monotony

I guess the most appropriate board would depend on whether you had a problem with your kit or your wish to discuss the subject more generally in terms of choices.

Why not post something very interesting and informative, requesting others' views against your points, and then sit back in total despair whilst the pedants come out of their cracks and endlessly debate whether you had the right to post it on that forum in the first place, whether you broke the rules, and whilst they go and tell teacher, all the while totally ignoring your original post.

Not that that would happen of course...
