Hi,
Are 20 euro notes still valid that were issued in 2002. I've not been on holiday in the eurozone for a while but just opened my suitcase to find some old notes?
Thanks

I’ve only got to here so far (which relates to the old and new Europa series but not back to 2002):

You might need to ask at at UK bank or Post Office if they’ll exchange them for sterling or either you or someone going to Europe could try and visit a bank over there and establish what you can do with them.
No doubt someone will find chapter and verse for you soon.
Edit: This from 2016 suggests they remain valid for use https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowTopic ... rance.html
