We have an AVC that we plan to take a lump sum from and buy an annuity with the remainder. I have looked at the providers on the MoneyAdviceService website and also on WilliamBurrows website. The latter indicates a better deal than the former for Legal and General (for example). What other IFAs might be able to get better annuity rates or are these as good as I will get?
Thanks

Re: DAK or can recommend an IFA for finding best annuity deal
I've been looking for quotes, too. Speculatively: it's just an option I'm evaluating.
I find the only website that'll let me get a half-serious quote is Aviva. The rest of them just want my details so they can call me - which is an option I might just go for but not until I have an online bloomin' quote as startingpoint! If you haven't already tried Aviva's site, do take a look.
And DAK if there are any others I might've missed?
