We have the remains of a set of knobbly bottom glasses of a size that I believe is called highball, 12cm deep 13.5cm overall, and we need replacements.

We don't want smooth bottoms as when you have ice in a drink they tend to sweat and stick to the coasters, causing them to come up with the glass, or go flying onto the floor.

I've been doing a bit of searching and the only example I've found is from the rental company picture I linked to.

Has anybody any idea where I might get some of this sort of style, new? I don't want to buy 2nd hand off Ebay.

Though not what you were looking for these (Boded Pavina glasses) are a neat solution to putting ice in glasses and avoiding condensation that makes mats stick to the bottom:

Actually, they went out of business in 2001. I think you'll find the brand still exist though.

Following a downturn in the company's fortunes (and various changes of ownership) in the late 1980s, it went into administration in 2001 and the factory closed. There followed an investigation by the Serious Fraud Office, following reference to it by Merseyside Police, but it was closed for lack of sufficient evidence.

In 2003 the Rayware Group of Liverpool, which bought the Ravenhead brand relaunched it...
