Hi
I received a 2nd hand double CD set by post today, packed in the old style, double width case that opened at both sides.
Part of the top of the dark grey inner bit had broken off, where the lugs hold the transparent opening parts of the case.
Does anyone know the best glue to mend this - would it be super glue, airfix glue, or is it something else.
I've got neither so will have to buy - I can't just try it out.
Thanks for any help

Re: Glue for CD case
These are, I believe, usually made from polystyrene so polystyrene cement ("Airfix glue") should be the ideal adhesive.

Methyl Ethyl Ketone is a good solvent, use a small paint brush to apply it sparingly.

Re: Glue for CD case
Thanks gents. I may have to buy a Spitfire to use up the airfix glue !
We had MEK where I used to work. Stank, absolutely stank, but is was the solvent spot cleaner of last resort. When they tell you to only use someyhing in a well ventilated area, this really does apply with MEK.

Re: Glue for CD case
Might be easier to go to a charity shop and buy a cheap pair of CDs in a similar case and swap out the printed items (and the CDs of course!)
