Can I change my name?

OK I know it's not been that long since I registered, & I'm not definite that I want to change. It's just that I automatically used the last name that I was known as on TMF.

Sadly one of my Wandle Hens died of a sudden heart attack, so I only have one Wandle Hen living with me now. Impending building work means that I won't be adding to the flock for at least 12 months, & even then I might take a break to do a bit of travelling........

I digress, back to the original question (I've looked of FAQs & didn't see the answer), Can I change my name?

Yes you can. at least one user has - originally named Lemon Fool but no connection to the Fool (except as a user ) changed it to avoid the implication that he was somehow "official"

I think its as simple as editing your profile - click on your name top right

I don't think LemonFool edited his name via his profile (as there doesn't appear to be an option for that). I think he may have re-registered with a new name.

Yes I re-registered as Stonge and trust Stooz will/has deleted my LemonFool account.

I suspect there will be quite a few 'orphan' accounts at the end of this two week initial TMF migration and I suspect a tidy up will eventually be done.

But there is no "Lemon Fool" in the list of members. So either he also deleted that (and I don't see an option for that either) or he changed it some other way or the SysAdmin removed it.

It looks like the issue can be resolved by stooz etc but the LemonFool (no space) I saw in the list of Members is here:

memberlist.php?first_char=l#memberlist

PD, I saw "LemonFool" but not "Lemon Fool". If he had just set up a second account then both should be seen, no?

I went to QuickLinks, then clicked on "Members", then re-sorted them by name.
