I need to send some clothes to thr USA. It could end up at more than the 2Kg limit for Royal Mail. I could divide it into 2 parcels but is there a better way to do it?

Re: Sending stuff to the USA
FTR etc I googled and found
https://parcel.dhl.co.uk/parcel-delivery-to-usa/
... but I note now that when I try it again it comes up with significantly more expensive quotes! wierd.
maybe try again tomorrow morning? maybe that'#s a quote to ensure it gets collected today or somesuch?
cheers

Re: Sending stuff to the USA
Or try a consolidator
I have used courierpoint and found them fine. They choose the shipment between known couriers (eg DHL, TNT etc) and prices are very competitive.
Other consolidators are available, no connection etc.
Just a small thing from when I was working. To send goods to the Americas (N & S), we would use FedEx rather than other couriers as they tended to get through customs rather quicker, especially US customs. To Europe and the rest of the world, we would send by price, but if it was close, we would use DHL by preference.

Re: Sending stuff to the USA
Thanks all
In the end it came out at 1.8 Kg, so it has gone via Royal Mail.
