Can anyone give me the titles of Stephen King novels which have the least horror in them? I read 11/22/63 which I liked - it has some supernatural ideas but isn't what I would call 'horror', whereas Gerald's Game wasn't for me as it had a lot of horror.
As this is DAK I'm not trying to survey people's opinions on which is their favourite, just get guidance on which novels are the least full of 'horror'.

Re: Stephen King novels
"The Running Man", written by King under the pen name of Richard Bachman. It's a dystopian science-fiction novel.
Turned into the 1987 film of the same name starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, which has little in common with the book asides from the name.

Re: Stephen King novels
Dolores Claiborne was a wonderful book and film. A pyschological thriller rather than horror. My wife who is a King fan liked 'The Green Mile. Shawshank redemption was a great film but was a short story I think.

I bought a 4 short novel compilation of the Bachman books, Roadworks, Rage and The Long Walk with Running man none of the horror genre, The Dark Tower previously mentioned are a series of non Horrory ones too.

I remember really enjoying "The Stand" when I read it
- it appears listed as a horror/fantasy but I'd put it in the same post society dystopian category as "Earth Abides" by George R Stewart
