Sun cream, mosquito repellant, bite soothing ointment - which order?!
The constant holiday dilemma. Half way through holiday and an array of mosquito bites to manage (not that many this time), but what order do I put on sun cream, mosquito repellent and bite soothing ointment? Does it matter and why hasn't anyone developed a 3 in 1 combo cream?!!

The 3 in 1 has crossed my mind so many times? I suppose it is economics, ie they can make more money that way.
I am lucky that "mossies" tend to leave me alone nowadays. However, when I do travel to the more exotic places, Cuba and Gambia, the sun cream goes on first, then the repellent. I only use the "soothing cream" if anything gets through, then I annoint the area only at the end of day after shower and second coat of repellant.
Enjoy the rest of the hols. Just got back from a week away myself (tired was up at 5AM), fortunately no mossies present, only rather annoying fellow "guests".

I would have thought the other way around was better. Won't the repellant wash off the sun cream?
Sun cream needs to form a continuous cover to be effective. The repellant only needs to be somewhere about.
I would have thought repellant first, let it dry a fair bit, then spread suncream.
Soothing cream either when you get back, or again before the sun cream for the same reason.

there is 2 in 1 repellent n factor an 2 in 1 repellent and after-sun

I understand the wisdom is sun protection with repellent on top but in my experience I've only used the repellent after sunset so not had the issue.

For me it is the anti-histamine cream, sun block and finally the mosquito repellent - though I don't don't do much in the way of sun block as the I manly use clothing and hiding in the shade for that purpose.
But if I am using sun block I will add more if and as required.
Seems to work for me.

My best advice if you are getting bitten is to take 100mg of Vitamin B1 daily ½ an hour before you venture outside.

I have read that if one eats yeast tablets for a week they will leave you alone. Bit late now.......
