Solid brass hardware seems to have vanished.
Where can I get screw eyes, screw hooks and small S hooks?
In the 1 - 2" range.
I had a big stock, 40 years ago, but I've used it all on domestic projects.
Looked on eBay, and in chandlers, and in my localish olde hardware shop.
All I see is plated stuff, or stainless.
I have tried bending them from brass screws, but screws are rather brittle.

The ones that don't specifically claim to be "solid" may be plated but there are quite a few that do say solid....

Thankyou, yes I had found some of those on a Marine site after I posted.
Over a quid each with the postage, ye gods and little fishes.
