keepoing a long and boring story short... please pardon my ignorance
a chum some while ago...
* opened a 247exchange account to buy bitcoin
* opened a bitcoin wallet with blockchain
* bought some bitcoin via 247exchange
* put them in his bitcoin wallet
* got bored
* closed the credit card he had used with 247exchange to buy the BC with
He'd now like to extract his BC cos its gone through the roof! He has a couple of thousand USD BC now.
247exchange have been totally unresponsive to queries as to how to extract it all.
He can log into his BC wallet and see his BC there. there allegedly a sell option but its totally unintuitive to him.
He asked me if I could help as mI helped with some basic IT related stuff when he bought them.
DAK how he can extract his BC form his blackchain bitcoin wallet and turn it into money in his bank account?
cheers

Re: extracting bitcoin
Send him off to a bitcoin exchange. He will need the details of his bitcoin from his wallet. As for which exchange, poster surerera suggested in #96554:
If you want to trade with costs of a fraction of 1% use Bitstamp or Cex.io
If you PM surerera I'm sure he'd be happy to help further. Suggest your friend doesn't take too long selling...
