I see that Redrow is the latest company to return furlough money which it has received from Government.

Might be a good idea to post a link to the news?

I saw it in The Times this morning taken from their Trading Statement issued yesterday which also said that they are winding down their London operations. I have no holding but I thought it might interest some since returning furlough monies was a recent topic which aroused some strong feelings. I do not have a link but the statement is on their website for anyone interested.

"Given the business's resilient cash flow, the Group has decided not to utilise the Government's Job Retention Scheme and is in the process of returning all payments received under the Scheme."

( I look forward to Taylor Wimpey doing the same ...and with resilient cashflow, a resumption of the dividend.. ;) )

I have just been involved in contributing towards the purchase of a property on a Redrow development. I would estimate on that development at least 90% of the work is done by sub contractors so I doubt whether the value of furlough payments returned would be as great as you would expect. It was a good gesture nonetheless.
