some of their views were staggeringly dumb, I couldn't stop laughing
eg there is a chip in the vaccine and when 5G gets switched on (errm it is already) it will kill those who have been vaccinated

Just noticed it's the Boss MT-2 (Metal Zone) whereas I think I said it was the HM-2 (the Heavy Metal its the precursor) in an earlier post so I apologise

Don't laugh, I think we could learn something from these people. Getting a 100uF electrolytic capacitor to a microscopic size to put in a vaccine is remarkable technology

Well...
they expanded the flexibility of the EQ controls on the Metal Zone over the HM pedal (and removed that from sale, pushing up the price to silly regions for a Boss pedal)
...but you're probably right!
It's not really needed given if you're using that then you're probably just going for the Swedish chainsaw sound.

I don't think intelligence enters into it. Nobody is able to recreate and evaluate the situation de novo. It comes down to evaluating people rather than data. There are better and worse reasons to believe somebody. But the things that convince some to believe dumb things are the same things used regularly in schools to teach grammar and history. And are remarkably akin to the tactics regularly used in courts to "determine" guilt or innocence.

A few random thoughts:

"dumb" can mean low intelligence, but it doesn't have to. It can also mean: cranky, ignorant, lacking commonsense, uneducated...

There is also the matter of 'judgement'. Few have the time or inclination to deeply investigate everything. So, many things are down to general awareness, knowledge and judgement: "Is this real or something nutty? "

Lord knows what a Big Muff would do...

I suspect the TS would give you a pronounced mid-hump and the Muff would give you a bit too much bottom (along with an inordinate amount of fuzz)


You know the chip in the screamer (JRC 4558D) mostly comes in a DIP-8 package? That would mean some needle!

The 'seasonal' hypothesis was blown out of the water when South Africa identified Omicron taking off in their high summer, IIRC.

If someone could tell me what that would look like then I would hazard a guess as to when that will happen. Or perhaps even when it did happen?

If it means many cases but relatively few deaths, such that people and the media have moved on to a place where we just "live with it", then does that count?
