Thanks!
I am a bit of an anorak when it comes to redwoods, sequoias and notice quite a few in your photo - could you give the location please?

looks lovely, must plan a trip (when I can afford the rail fare, which is probably more than a flight to eastern Europe..)

I investigated that very question.
The white bandage on top of https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@54.77220 ... txfGOw!2e0 looks like evidence to me.

Must be a big repair job, that Google view was taken in May 2016

According to my phone it was taken near Cheddington, a couple of miles from Aylesbury.
I hadn’t realised at the time, but it was very near the infamous Bridego Bridge, the scene of the Great Train Robbery.

More familiar with the 250, as you could ride that with L plates on at 17. That or the Kawasaki KH250.

Wow, that's a blow, was thinking about taking the kids up there at the weekend to go sledging - seems to be a distinct lack of snow though!

Just under 2 miles for me, walked it many a time. If you go down to the end and turn left there's a wonderfully cosy pub called the Two Brewers, although their beer isn't too spectacular. Anna Friel lives off to the left too!

I almost bought one of those houses in that very nice terrace, I would have been Ann's neighbour!

Yes it was this terrace...I think it was the one with the portaloo outside.
The car parking was a bit tight and I wanted a indoor loo.
It was over 25 years ago though...I believe they were going for tuppense hape'ney.

Ms Friel's place has the white chimney stack- could be the same house, or you would have been next door!
