Buying a new phone

#132443

Postby wheypat » April 16th, 2018, 8:36 am

Mine has died, so popped into CarPhone Warehouse to get a new phone. 2 members of staff are working, both are busy so I just wait. After 10 or so minutes I noticed that the store manager "Dave" was chatting to the 2 very attractive girls infront of him about his old phones, when he first got a phone and so on and that the 2 girls were also discussing their old mobiles. i.e. no one was attempting to buy anything or sell anything.

After another 10 minutes I said to myself, for God's sake, they don't want to buy anything and your not going to get laid (Dave was very overweight and about 50 years old, they were in their early 20's)

Then I noticed that all conversation had stopped and everyone was staring at me.

Looks like I didn't say that to myself and may have externalised my thoughts.

Whoops.

On the plus side they left and I now have a shiny* new phone.

*Dirt cheap

You are a saint.

I wouldn''t have waited 20 minutes to give them my money (in the circumstances as described)

And then he walked silently up to you, and gave you that line from the pub scene in American Werewolf:

"You...............made..................me............................................................MISS!"

Mind how you go.

I have an IMO Q2. Never heard of it, but I can run outlook and make calls/send texts, which is all I need. £55 all in.

What on earth does the 'all in' mean?

Unless you had them come back and all in your place.

Two 20s and a 50? Hmm, bet you forgot all about the phone! :-)
