I used to use Interactive Investor's free site to keep track of my portfolio because I found it very good, but since they've changed their software the new service (free admittedly) is pretty shoddy.
So does anyone know of a website that offers a similar service to the old II one? I liked it because you could track stocks in a number of portfolios and you could see when there was news on companies you were interested in and the discussion boards were quite civilised.
I would be willing to pay something for a similar service as I am now finding it hard to monitor stocks of interest to me as well as my portfolio.
Thanks
Lester

The London Stock Exchange offer a free portfolio service and you can aslo have RNS's emailed to you.
I use it. Around 7' every morning I get emails from them.
It's a good simple service.

I agree with both parts of this. Also, if you download the ADVFN you can check your portfolio and do other bits and pieces on your smartphone.

Not only that, but they don't chuck you out of the monitor in the app, like they do on the website, it just freezes.
