Has anyone else lost the little triangle that acts as an 'up' tag at the bottom right of posts in-thread?
I never noticed that I use it much until it wasn't there, which I've noticed today.

The one that displays Top if you hover the mouse over it?
It is there now for me, on the PC.

Can't remember if it does that or not, it's gone so can't hover to check.
But I've closed and re-opened, am on PC (it's never worked on the phone anyway) and it's still not there. Weird, just checked on the phone and it's still there.
Sigh.
Just me then. Again....

Re: Up arrow
Oh, Chrome.
I'm at work, I'll try on the laptop when I get home.
Chrome has been doing some odd things lately though. Last night I noticed the ad blocker had disappeared and when I tried to reinstall it, it said it was already installed but disabled, when I tried to enable it nothing happened. So I installed a different one and that's working fine. Very odd.

Re: Up arrow
I just remembered that of course we have IE on our PCs at work, so I tried that and the arrow is there.
Not sure how that information helps other than it's a Chrome issue.
Ho hum.

OK here with Windows 7 and Chrome Version 69.0.3497.92
What happens if you disable all of your Chrome extensions (More Tools / Extensions)

Re: Up arrow
I just had a flash of inspiration, which may or may not be helpful.
Which board style are you using? (User Control Panel / Board Preferences / Edit Global Settings / Board Style)
I use Prosilver and it works fine. BUT..... if I change the board style to BBOOTS, the up arrow disappears

OK, so I'm home now and it's the same on the laptop. Disabled all extensions and the arrow is back. Very odd. This probably means the new extension I installed last night (ad blocker) is the culprit. But I need an ad blocker more than I need the up arrow.
thanks!

That's progress!
I use the uBlock Origin Ad-Blocker on Chrome and the Up arrow works fine.

Re: Up arrow
It all worked fine until yesterday - I noticed the ad blocker had stopped working and it was intolerable.
Did a bit of checking and could see no reason it would have just stopped working, the icon was gone but when I went to the extension it said it was already installed, but disabled, and could not enable it.
So in the end, I downloaded a different one. And then today, the up arrow is gone - it obviously thinks the arrow is an advert.

Re: Up arrow
Aaand, it's back. Disabled the new ad blocker, and the arrow has reappeared.
And the previous ad blocker seems to have sorted itself out.
I despair, but at least it's sorted. Thank you all

I thought you didn't need the ad blocker on this site Mel.

Odd though it may seem - I do visit a few other sites on the Internet.....none as good, obviously!
It wasn't specifically *this* site the ad blocker wasn't working on, as you say, I don't need it anyway right now, it was everywhere [else]. It never occurred to me to just turn it off for here to reinstate the arrows. I mean, if it deleted the arrows on here, who knows what else it might have been deleting. It's obviously not configured properly that one.
