I have a gmail account and I want to also use ymail and icloud addresses, all on my new iPad (2018).
My instinct says I should use the app provided by each provider, as opposed to using their webmail facility.
Am I right in this respect? Can any Fool offer a more appropriate option?
Thanks

Re: Accessing email accounts with my new iPad
I would have thought it most convenient to use the Apple Mail app by default. No bad thing to have a Plan B however, either webmail or another email app such as gmail.

My approach is to use the Gmail app only, with Gmail acting as a client for the other 3rd party providers.

I'd suggest using the Apple app, since at least it will be updated in synchronisation with other iOS updateds.

I use the Apple mail app using IMAP so I can read the mails but they stay on their servers so I can see them from other devices.
