A new destination for the pension fund

Forget boring old Lamborghinis, this is the perfect retirement present - https://www.theguardian.com/business/20 ... GTUK_email

Although it says it won't be road legal it's not clear why it wouldn't be. After all, the mere fact that it can lay an oil slick doesn't mean it will, any more than the driver might succumb to the temptation to spin the number plates going past a speed camera!

In any case, the type of person who can afford to buy one is hardly likely to be put off driving it on the road by the threat of a £100 fine for a breach of the Construction and Use Regulations.

But imagine the joy of coming up behind some dawdler in the outside lane, and instead of a polite flash of the headlights giving them a quick blast from the (admittedly simulated) machine guns!

It's just a shame the ejector seat doesn't work. I can think of a few people that I'd like to invite for a ride before sliding back the gear lever cover and pressing the red button ...

The use of fake number plates, perhaps? ;)

There's no reason that one of the three on the revolving plate shouldn't be genuine!
