Re: Premium Bonds
I got two emails from NSANDI today, same time. Identical - "Good news about..."
Do they send a separate email for each prize (so assume 2 x £25) or is this an error , and possibly just 1 x £25
(I would have thought the email would relate to the holder / month rather than a particular prize)
yes, I will find out later when I use the Prize Checker (in a meeting at the moment) - just curious.

Re: Premium Bonds
No, Aleister. My 4 were all in the same email. Erroneous duplication I should think. It will be interesting to see whether they duplicate the prize money as well. If so, that really will test your honesty!

Re: Premium Bonds
It was 2 x £25, so I got an email for each prize I assume (although the emails don't state the winning bond number or amount, so it may have been one email 'about £50' and a duplicate...if you see what i mean...)
That £200 (calendar) year to date, on a starting value of ~£12.6k

Re: Premium Bonds
One normally receives an email saying they have sent a secure message about one's premium bonds without saying anything about the no. of prizes and then you have to log into the NS&I website and you are given the winning bond nos. and the amount of each prize, so I'm afraid I don't know what happened in your case.

Re: Premium Bonds
Yes 100% positive. My (only) holders number brings up both £25 prizes on the prize checker.

strange that you get two separate e-mails, can't explain that, I only get one e-mail for one or more prize winnings.
regarding the time delay: NS&I seem to phase sending the e-mails. I check two separate holders (me & my sister) and the e-mails can often easily be 40 minutes apart; they usually show a "sent" time as the same, but the delivery is different.

Re: Premium Bonds
I never wait for the emails. I go on their website and put in my holder's no. and get an instant result. It is usually available late on the day the big prizes are announced.

Re: Premium Bonds
For those who have an Amazon Echo you can ask Alexa if you have won. Of course you have to input your holder number just once but when registered you simply have to ask for the premium bond prize checker and the results will come through.

I think I might be afraid she would find a way of spending it for me. All a bit too "Big Sister" for me so she is not a resident in my house.

Why? What is she doing on her desk?
The Alexa is used by me mainly for the radio to listen to the cricket, Talk Sport and LBC which I couldn't otherwise receive on a conventional DAB radio here in the backward, infrastructure starved South West.

Re: Premium Bonds
My family were here for lunch today and I asked them how their PBs had done this month. My daughter said she had had 3 emails so presumably had won 3 prizes but she hadn't got around to going on to the NS&I website to see whether they were all £25 So Aleister C. isn't the only one to get more than one email.
