I know there's at least one person who's probably bookmarked the old FAQ via the waybackmachine and I posted it here some time back (and lost it) but, having today been asked what Widdy is all about in a Poll option, here it is:

It is no laughing matter. Some of us have been placed in a the technological equivalent of a boggy field, and it can take several months to get from one post to another, unless you go to Squiffy's corner on facebooks, where he's posting more frequently but no more amusingly. He puts posts up there in-between the advertising hoardings, which are less boggy on account of them being annoying (at least 3 clicks each) to remove.
I went into our local indie bookshop this week to ask the assistant if she knew any good authors of dinosaur books.
She said, "Try Sarah Topps".

Hah! I have difficulty now interpreting my own post in context. I wonder if I had a brain glitch - increasingly common I fear - and misinterpreted LoOTP as a reference to the old TMF board 'LoST'?
