Re: Vodafone
Large Vodafone trades are going through after the 4.30 close.
Is the market still open for some traders after this time?

Yes I am referring to the brokers price targets . I'm relatively inexperienced at this - why are they meaningless?
Let us be charitable and assume that brokers are completely disinterested (or is that too naive?).
You only have to look at the huge differences between the target prices given by different brokers.
You seem to be interested in Vodafone - check out the FT summary at:
https://markets.ft.com/data/equities/te ... ?s=VOD:LSE
Twelve month price targets ranging between 155p and 295p! Without access to the detailed reports, which may explain how the figures are reached, it is just gibberish.

Re: Vodafone
Managed to sell the BT at a profit - just hoping the Vod recovery will continue.
Although, does anybody think the record FTSE100 will now fall as I am mainly in cash!

Re: Vodafone
Fallen so far this morning - but not enough to buy.
Just keeping an eye on Pharmaceuticals though.
I think this level is not sustainable especially if interest rates rise.
Have you found your Crystal ball yet?

Brokers get paid when shares are being bought and sold. If nothing happens, then they starve or at the very least lose commission.
