The Gringo with Mel Gibson. Not bad at all. Prison action with a difference and quite amusing at times. Amazon Prime.....Free!!!!

Last week or so have watched and enjoyed :

The Green Book on Prime, excellent film with great acting from both leads and a reminder of the racist nature of things in the US south in the early 60s. Some critics feel that the subject matter was treated too lightly but that did not detract from the film IMHO.

"I Tonya" on Netflix. I enjoyed the dark comedic nature of this biopic. Unbelievable tragi-comedic true life events made for an engrossing watch for me.

"Wind River". Quirky but watchable . Murder among native Americans on a reservation in Wyoming in winter. Made me feel chilly just watching.

The Spy (Netflix).
Sacha Baron Cohen in a serious role recounting the true story of Eli Cohen. Pretty gripping.

Moby Dick, 1956. Adaption of Herman Melville's novel, directed by John Huston and starred Gregory Peck.

I watch it every Christmas time. Very low tech special effects but I think that makes it all the better. Grany, black and white.

My favourite film. You can sometimes pick up a remastered DVD copy on ebay.
