LifeStrategy 100% US exposure
On HL website it says 31.64% US. It feels like that has gone down. Does anyone remember? VWRL is now 55.94% US. I don't remember that gap being so big. Do they announce such changes anywhere?
Re: LifeStrategy 100% US exposure
No, you just have to keep looking at the factsheets. The downside of Lifestrategy is they have consistently had an overweight home-bias to UK stocks.

Re: LifeStrategy 100% US exposure
Thanks for pointing that out. What on earth is the 15% allocation to Ireland? What's going on?

I would hazard a guess that its probably underlying funds registered there rather than exposure to the Irish stock market.

And HL is obviously wrong, even by HL's own figures.
While HL's "Top 10 Countries" for the fund says 31.64% US, looking at HL's "Top 10 Holdings" finds Vanguard U.S Equity Index GBP 19.38% and Vanguard S&P 500 UCITS ETF (USD) Distributing 14.12%, which make up 33.5% just themselves.
Then there's also Vanguard FTSE Developed World ex-U.K Equity Index GBP 19.18%, and following that through finds that 62.59% of that is US, so that adds another 12% to the LS100 US exposure, for a total of 45.5%.
And that's pretty close to Trustnet's figure of 46.85% for "North American Equities", the 1.35% difference presumably being made up by Canada. https://www.trustnet.com/factsheets/o/a ... 100-equity

Ah, yes. I should know never to trust info like this.
Maybe this and the Ireland exposure explains the mistake. If you add Vanguard S&P 500 UCITS ETF (USD) Distributing 14.12% to 31.64% you get about 45%. So maybe HL have counted the S&P 500 tracker as "Ireland" by mistake.
