We didn't replace our cotton sheets, but still avoid ironing

Amongst our pillow cases are some silk ones. They don't get ironed but after washing are hung on drying racks, not put in the t/d. Were it not for the cost I'd be tempted to replace all our cotton sheets with silk, to avoid ironing.

Duvet cover. (When the duvet needs to be washed, we take it to a laundry that claims to know what they're doing. Didn't stop them messing up however!)
I hope you forgave them.

Do you mean duvet or duvet cover? I never iron sheets or duvet covers. (When my duvet needs to be washed - usually at the end of winter when changing to a summer weight - I take it to our local laundry otherwise the weight when wet might do damage to a domestic washing machine)
