Albion VCT's NAV movements
RNS's today for 4 Albion vct's re 2 external fundraisings taking place in 2 of their common holdings, Kings Arms & Crown are both seeing nav uplifted by over 5% & Development & Enterprise uplifted by about 7%.
No indication which investments are the two in question as far as I can see but a nice way to start the week.

Re: Albion VCT's NAV movements
Hi , Albion Technology have also issued an updated NAV ( up 7.32%) . Looking at the respective holdings in each VCT I am pretty confident that Quantexa is the main fundraiser . Albion VCT hasn’t issued an update and doesn’t hold any Quantexa . I played around with the Proveca and Egress but couldn’t get the numbers to stack up , so discounted them .
As you say barchid , a nice start to the week .

Wow, even more good news from Farringdon, AAVC is paying out a special divi of 15p in addition to the 1st interim of 1.83p which together is 23% of the March 2021 nav.
An even better start to the week !

Looks like farewell to the care homes. Joining Ventus and Hazel in winding up old no-longer-eligible assets. I wonder how the DRIS works with a nominee account?

Re: Albion VCT's NAV movements
My only slight disappointment is that the September AGM is going to be another 'virtual' one even though all COVID restrictions are due to be lifted by mid-July. I was rather hoping we'd be able to get back to The Charterhouse again. Maybe next year.

@Gostevie
Indeed the Albion AGM's did use to brighten up an otherwise dull week, & were normally attended by some interesting investors, I do hope they are reinstated, not quite the same on zoom is it ?

Re: Albion VCT's NAV movements
See: https://techcrunch.com/2021/07/12/quantexa-raises-153m/
Quantexa is a material (up to 8% by NAV) holding in several Albion VCTs. Embarking on a series D round, at ~3X the value of last year's series C. I don't think Albion has yet uplifted value beyond the series C.
CEO comments on acquisition interest 'but prefers to hold on for IPO'.

Re: Albion VCT's NAV movements
Good morning , I think that we have seen the Series D fundraising benefits in the NAV updates issued on 21 June 2021 . It would be nice to think that there will be more to come ! I am not sure if the Albion VCTs participated in the latest fundraising ( I suspect not ) .
