Has anyone any recent experience taking a pet dog from GB to Northern Ireland? It seems we have to go through the same hoops as if we were taking one to the EU. The old UK Pet Passport is no longer valid. We need to get an Animal Health certificate for each trip, which with a quick google seems to cost £180 to £250 for a single dog.
This is on top of any rabies vaccine or any other treatment actually required.
Anyone done it yet?
(Thanks Brexit )
Scott.

Re: Taking a dog to NI or EU
Our neighbours up the lane drove last week to Switzerland via France, complete with dog.
They did say that there was 'a lot' of paperwork.
When they return... about three weeks now... I'll let you know how it went.
