Looking for a place to eat with clients in the coming weeks. Probably in the region of 6-10 people, and needs to be "nice".
Not OTT fancy, just pleasant surroundings, decent food and not outrageously priced. Preferably within walking distance of the Business Design Centre on Upper Street, but a quick taxi trip is also ok.
Many thanks for any recommendations

I eat in that area from time to time, and have enjoyed meals at:
Andy's (Greek) - Pratt Street
Rabieng (Thai) - Upper Street
Pera (Turkish) - Upper Street
Can't answer for client suitability of course!

Went to Rodizio Rico, 77 Upper Street, a few months back and it was good though not that posh
Also Meat People, 4-6 Essex Rd, more months back and the meat was excellent. Argentinian style.
Both within 5 minute walk of BDC.

I also like Meat People and almost posted a reference to it yesterday, but didn't as it's not the kind of place I'd take clients, or any group, to.
It's a great restaurant but is more an intimate dining room(s) than somewhere to entertain IMHO. They were playing some good Northern Soul last time I was in.
